Dr. Luis Efren Aguilar, Psy.D., CBIS is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 34659), and a clinical neuropsychologist. He is bilingual and bicultural. He earned his Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University, San Francisco, and completed his 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at UCLA’s Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.
- As a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS), Dr. Aguilar has a strong background in assessment, and cognitive remediation /executive functioning training. He has extensive experience working with English- and Spanish-speaking individuals across the lifespan. He can also provide comprehensive care for children and adolescents, with a focus on diagnosing and treating neurodevelopmental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
- Additionally, he is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and specializes in treating trauma-related disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
